Mission Statement

The mission of Saint John of the Cross Catholic School is to live and teach the Gospel, to evangelize, nurture, and protect God given freedom of the human person rooted in a Eucharistic-Marian spirit of Mercy, through a quality education based on Catholic and Mercedarian Tradition, collaborating with the parents as educators.

SJC Boys Soccer Dream Team Wins Big
One of the best seasons in years with the SJC Varsity Boys Soccer team winning 3 tournaments, this past weekend the Saints Tournament, and the League championship. They gave us an exciting ride and a school filled with pride.

Purchase and sell your raffle tickets for your way to the fun.

Ticket Prices: $10 per raffle ticket or 13 tickets for $100.

SJC Summer School 2013
Learning and enrichment do not stop when the doors of school close on June 13th. St. John of the Cross will be offering summer school for those that are in need of improving skills and to continue a meaningful atmosphere of learning over the lazy days of summer.
Annual Catholic Appeal to support Catholic Programs and Initiatives in San Diego
Each parish is tasked with a goal of raising funds towards the Annual Catholic Appeal. St. John of the Cross Catholic Church's goal is to raise $60,000. Any funds raised in excess of this goal will go towards Catholic education at St. John of the Cross Catholic School. All contributions are a charitable donation and tax deductible.
